MatchingWINGS has been invited to partake in a scientific study on unethical behavior of entrepreneurs. The study objective is to discover predictors of potential unethical behaviour in an early stage, so before the investment decision is made. The study will be undertaken by a research team consisting of academics from various fields of criminology and psychology from the University of Porto, Portugal. Experienced investors are asked to partake in an one hour group discussion. The results of the discussions will be used as input for the development of a risk assessment and guideline program for incubators and investors avoiding misconduct of start-up entrepreneurs. Once this tool is ready, it will be provided to all investors participating in the study before being released. For those that are interested, a more detailed outline of the study is available.
Discussions will take place on 11 December at the Rockstart offices (Rigakade, Amsterdam) in two different groups: one session starts at 10.30 hours, a second option is at 14 hours. If you cannot make it on 11th December, there is also an option to schedule an online meeting.
