Corporate Venturing is an alternative to traditional R&D in the development of new technologies or business models. And although the running of successful corporate venturing programs is not simple, expected benefits such as increased speed, flexibility, lower costs and financial return are attainable. For these reasons corporate venturing can be an attractive method supporting an organization’s growth and innovation strategy.
MatchingWINGS – whose mission is to professionalize the ecosystem of early and next stage ventures – is organizing a masterclass on corporate venturing. During the masterclass the concept of corporate venturing is explained including its pros and cons. In addition, main activities for corporates and startups are explained.
